NextGen Network Seminar avec Microsoft

The Institut Aspen France, in partnership with the Aspen Institute network of International Partners, hosted a NextGen Network Seminar in Paris on July 10, 2019, the fifth workshop in the network supported by Microsoft.

The seminar gathered together a group of ~20 generation thinkers and leaders from technology, business, policy, journalism, and civil society to discuss the underlying values and principles that need to be respected in order to deliver ethical AI in society and how can AI can be leveraged to address societal challenges.

The workshop was moderated by Tyson Barker, Program Director of the Transatlantic and Digital program at Aspen Germany.

The NextGen Network series, entitled Building the Future: Addressing the opportunities and challenges of an AI-enabled world, serve as active workshops to create a feedback mechanism for the informed perspectives of millennials on how societies should prepare themselves to respond to new technologies and inform policy discussions at the local and international level.
